T-Mobile has started testing HotSpot@Home UMA service for in Seattle. Unlicensed Mobile Access (UMA), uses WiFi and Voice Over IP (VoIP) to provide cheaper calls when in the area of a compatible WiFi hotspot. Besides cost savings, this technology should appeal to people that have poor cell coverage at home. |
With T-Mobile HotSpot service, you get:
- Unlimited wireless broadband Internet access at any T-Mobile HotSpot in the US.
