Microsoft To Launch Mobile Phones Ads Soon

Microsoft will be launching advertising on the mobile phones soon via its Windows Live properties.  Microsoft, recently acquired ScreenTonic, a French company based in Paris, that works to launch advertising campaigns in partnership with wireless carriers in Europe and Web-site publishers engineered specifically for mobile phones.

The expertise gained from  will help Microsoft commercially launch banner and text ads on Windows Live for mobile properties in the not-too-distant future.  Microsoft will follow Yahoo and Google (among others) to advertise on mobile phones.
