Nokia-Vertu Selling $25K+ Ferrari Cell Phone

Today Nokia announced that its luxury brand, Vertu, has started selling a phone designed jointly with Ferrari for about $25,400 at its stores in London, Paris, Hong Kong and Singapore. Vertu manufactured the Ascent Ferrari 1947 phone to celebrate Ferrari's 60th anniversary. Nokia and other cell phone manufacturers are increasingly teaming up with designers. Last Monday Italian designer Giorgio Armani teamed with Samsung Electronics to design an Armani-Samsung phone that will be the size of a credit card and 10.5 millimeters thick. Designers Dolce & Gabbana have teamed up with Motorola for a gold-colored version of the RAZR mobile phone model and Prada has developed a phone with South Korea's LG Electronics. Checkout these "bling-bling" cell phones. Maybe one day you can buy one if you don't currently have the earning power to buy one!
