Portable Cell Phone Jammer

| Last month we reported on a cell phone jammer called the Personal Cell Phone Signal Blocker (CPSB). The CPSB creates enough interference to block all cell phone signals around you regardless if its GSM, CDMA, DCS, PHS or 3G. The CPSB creates a 2 to 40 feet (0.6 meter to 12 meter) radius of signal black out area. Its built-in 1500mAh battery lasts 3 to 4 hours and can be charged (via included adapters) on AC and 12V car power. The unit weighs about 6 oz and can fit in your pant pocket. Now we found another cell phone jammer found on Gadget.brando.com.hk to take a look at. This one is called “Portable Palm Phone Jammer” and is pretty similar to the CPSB. It has a blocking distance of 5 to 10 meters, preventing frequencies in the GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz range. The Portable Palm Phone Jammer measures a pocket-friendly 6cm x 6.8cm x 2cm and weighs 70 grams and is more expensive than the CPSB at US$166. The CPSB costs US$48.21. |  |
