AT&T Inc. and MediaFLO USA Inc. recently announced that on May 4 they will launch the AT&T Mobile TV with FLO service. The television service will have around-the-clock access to some of today's most popular television programs; live and in color on the mobile phone. The Vu is a relative of the LG Prada phone which is only available overseas. The LG Vu, the U.S. version of the Prada, is a quad-band, GSM world phone, 3G, HSDPA data system now available in 58 markets across the country by AT&T. |
The Vu is small but has a surprisingly large touch screen which takes up almost the entire front panel. The handset features a vibrating feature which allows you immediate feedback whenever you press an on-screen "button."
The Vu comes with a two-megapixel camera (stills and videos), Bluetooth, POP and IMAP email, instant messaging, Web browsing, games, music downloads, optional microSD cards up to 4GB, alarm clock, calculator, calendar, address book and more.
The LG Vu is available for $299.99 with a two-year service agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate.
