Use the GPS Tracking Key to Easily Track a Vehicle

August 21, 2008 7:35 PM | Gadgets | Comments (0)

GPS Tracking is becoming very popular.  Initially developed for the military, GPS tracking is used in cars, ships, airplanes and even cell phones.  But did you know you can use a GPS Vehicle Tracking device to easily and cheaply track a vehicle so you can do things like monitor where that suspecting cheating spouse has been.

LandAirSea Systems, Inc. has developed a unique device called the "GPS Tracking Key" to track a vehicle’s driving history.   The GPS Tracking Key is a pocket sized device that receives signals from the 24 GPS satellites (owned by the Department of Defense) orbiting the earth.

The GPS location is determined by the internal computer and is accurate within 2.5 meters. The GPS Tracking Key records location data every second and can be downloaded and viewed in Google Earth simply by plugging the Tracking Key into the USB port of a computer. The data logged by the GPS Tracking Key includes speed, time en route, route traveled, direction/orientation, arrival addresses and duration of stop and only costs about $200.  How cool is that?
