HP Announces the iPAQ Data & Voice Messenger Smartphones

HP today announced two new Windows Mobile devices in its iPAQ range of smartphones. The iPAQ Data Messenger has a large touch display with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard and runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. While the iPAQ Voice Messenger has a a smaller screen and 20-key QWERTY keypad and also runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard.

The basic smarthpones features include:
Tri-band HSPA 900/1900/2100MHz and quad-band GSM/EDGE radios
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR
Assisted GPS
3.1 megapixel camera with autofocus
LED flash
MicroSD cards up to 8GB
MicroUSB for charging and data transfer
