Suggest Your Mobile Ideas to Google

January 3, 2009 3:19 PM | Google | Comments (7)

Google wants your ideas for mobile products.  The company has launched a new Product Ideas page that allows you to suggest your mobile product ideas.  Your ideas will be seen by Google and other users as well. The Product Ideas page is built on Google Moderator, which allows you to submit ideas that others can view and rate so you can see what other Google mobile users think about it, too. This way some ideas will be voted up and others will be voted down.

From this Google will be able to see more clearly what's important to you and Google will take it into consideration as they move forward with developing mobile products. The Product Ideas team will check to see what you have to say, and Google be offering periodic updates on what they see and what ideas make it into your favorite products in our Product Ideas blog.

To get started, visit the Product Ideas for Google mobile page and sign in.  Visit for more information.

@ a ogden, there are apps for this "personal attack alarm button"

I would like to know why mobile phones don't have a personal attack alarm button, to help protect women and children.

I have an idea for cell phone usage... Public facilities will make money as well...

I have an idea for the cell phone that I want to sell, but I'm not sure who to talk to about it. What I can tell you, is that it will save lives and it will be a game changer for the cell phone industry. I haven't tried to contact any phone companies yet because I'm not sure if I should present it to one company or many companies. Need advice or will someone be willing to contact me for more details?

There are many instances where I would have something fairly important to inform someone of and it is too late in the day to call. It might be a good feature for cell phone companies to create a program where you can set text messages at a set time. For instance, you want to sleep in the next morning and you want to inform you friend that you might be a couple of hours late to breakfast, you can set your phone to send the text message.
This is especially helpful during times where you know the person you want to contact is busy. This might eliminate the chance of you forgetting to send the message as well. Just sayin'. =)

iv got a crazy idea... i have a cellphone but i hate having to remember to charge it. wat happens if im in an emergency and i need a charged phone. well how about a phone that charges when u shake it. think about it. ur walking down the street with ur phone in ur pocket and ur phones charging! this means your phone will always be charged and it will be like ur didnt even have to remeber to charge it! i think if you use the vibration motor to intaken energy it could be a great selling feature!
