| Samsung today unveiled two additional TouchWiz-based (see video below) handsets; the S5600 and S5230. Both handsets come with a new feature called Gesture Lock, which lets users lock/unlock different applications on their phones by drawing letters on the screen. As an example, if a user draws the letter "T", it could be set to open their text messaging applications. The S5600 and S5230 have many of the same features, which include accelerometers, quad-band GSM/EDGE radios, 3 megapixel cameras with smile shot and video capture, FM radios with RDS, Bluetooth 2.1, microSD support up to 8GB and built-in Google search features. The S5600 features a dual-band 900/2100 MHz 7.2Mbps HSDPA and 2.8-inch QVGA screen and will be available in Europe starting in May. The S5230 doesn't come with 3G, but has a 3.0-inch WQVGA screen and will be available in Europe starting in April. | ![]() |
