Home Cell Phones Usage Surpass Traditional Home Landlines

For the first time, the number of U.S. households using only cell phones has surpassed those that just use traditional landlines. (See video to the right) The growing number of cell-phone-only households is believed to be due to the recession which forced many families to lower their budgets. People who live in households only using wireless service tend to be disproportionately low-income, young, renters and Hispanics. | |
