| Motorola today announced the Debut i856 for Boost Mobile. The Debut i85 is the first iDEN push-to-talk slider with music and camera features. The Debut i856 comes with easier access to the keypad along with the security of keeping keys protected when not in use. Control your music, take calls, view messages and access the Web, all with the slider closed. The Debut i856 allows users to talk with up to 20 friends at once, have short-range conversations outside network areas or instantly send contact info and pictures to family with compatible handsets. You can even convert push-to-talk conversations into voice calls for a quick and easy change of pace. If you prefer the written word, use IM-style texting1 to view entire conversations all on one screen. Once your message is ready to go, send it in the background and move on to other applications. | ![]() |
The Debut i856 music features include a dedicated key to instantly open up your song library, dual speakers and enhanced 3D audio to play music the way it was meant to sound. Listen to your music your way with a 3.5mm headset jack for wired headphones or wirelessly using stereo Bluetooth. Keep your music in constant rotation by easily swapping songs from your desktop and storing up to 10 hours of music with optional 8GB of removable memory. With an easy-to-use camera and video capture and playback you no longer have to rely just on your memory. A large library will store all your images and videos so you can reminisce at a moment’s notice.
The Motorola Debut i856 will be available from Boost Mobile in September 2009.
