I just recently purchased the MSGM8 and love it. I knew that I was not getting a real smart phone and that was not an issue. It does everything I need it to do: email, text, check the news and weather and I can even chat with my friends.

I would recommend this phone to anyone who wants a fairly good text phone and email. The Cricket service does very well where I live and I have yet to have any problems with this phone.

I also wanted to give my own personal opinion on the functionality of the MSGM8. I like the feel of the qwerty keyboard and it is very easy to use. I have big hands and I do not have a problem with navigating the MSGM8 keys. I think the layout is intuitive and simple. I really do like this phone and once again I would recommend it to those who are looking for a decent phone at a really good price. I paid $79 US for it at the company store here in town. I could have got it for $10 US less online but I like being able to deal with things at the bricks and mortar way.
The Cricket MSGM8 has rather flat navigation keys and a cramped keyboard. The photo quality could be improved, too.
