San Francisco Wants Radiation Levels Stated on Cell Phones for Sale

There has been much concern about radiation from cell phones causing brain cancer. Most studies have proven that the radiation from cell phones does not cause brain cancer.

However, it has been reported via the Chicago Tribune, Mayor Newsom of San Francisco has a radical plan that would require mobile phone sellers to display radiation emission levels with the prices of cell phones. Mayor Newsom is planning to call for an ordinance in January to implement this requirement.

The need for public information regarding cell phone emissions is a part of a wide-ranging draft of related recommendations submitted by the city’s Commission on the Environment.
UK's Mobile Telecommunications and Health Research (MTHR) Program recently published a report stating that after a six year study they found mobile phone usage have no association with any biological or adverse health effects. This is UK’s largest research investigation
