Starred Places Now Synchronized with Google Maps for Mobile and Desktop

Google has announced that with the release of Google Maps for mobile 3.3 on Windows Mobile and Symbian phones, users can keep the starred places on their mobile phone and on their computer completely synchronized. Users upgrading from an older version of Google Maps for mobile, will be asked, when they log in, whether they'd like to synchronize their existing starred items with their Google Account. This means users can preserve all their work they've put into customizing their map on their mobile, and have it show up, conveniently, in Google Maps in their desktop browser. | |
