Pinger Textfree with Voice Optimized for iOS 5
Pinger, the company disrupting the mobile space by making texting and talking free, today announced an update to its immensely popular Pinger Textfree with Voice app for iOS platforms. The update optimizes Pinger Textfree with Voice for the new iOS 5 operating system and gives users a new and easier way to get free calling minutes. Now, users can watch videos on their iPod touch or iPhone to get free minutes to call their friends and family.

Pinger also announced today that it now supports sending free texts to and from any mobile phone number in 29 countries. Users simply address messages with the appropriate country code and they can text friends all over the world free. In addition to normal everyday communication, Pinger Textfree with Voice enables students, international travelers, and military personnel to keep in touch for free wherever they may be.
The 29 countries now supported by Pinger include: American Samoa, Australia, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Canada, Cayman Islands, China, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Germany, Guam, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Israel, Jamaica, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Northern Mariana Islands, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Sri Lanka, United States, and Venezuela.
